   Nov 11,  · "Live On Air" (BBC Volume 2) is a very good album, both musically and historically. It comprises 40 musical tracks, 19 spoken intros/clips, and 4 bonus Pop Profile interviews. The re-mastered hi-fi quality is mostly very good, and the 48 page booklet is excellently presented/5().

   Nearly two decades after the first volume, the second installment of the Beatles BBC recordings arrives and, like its predecessor, On Air: Live at the BBC, Vol. 2 condenses the Fab Four's voluminous BBC sessions into an easily digestible double-disc of highlights. The generous track running length is slightly misleading as this, more than the set, is peppered with dialogue, interviews.

   The second official release of The Beatles’ BBC radio recordings was released 19 years after ’s Live At The BBC collection.. On Air – Live At The BBC Volume 2 was released in two-CD set and gram vinyl versions. Both include a page booklet with an introduction by Paul McCartney and liner notes by BBC producer Kevin Howlett.
